I dont think the Z is hard to drive. Its harder to drive then a dodge neon, but its not hard to drive.

The Zzz is a piece of cake to drive for anyone this side of a complete wacko. It holds the road like it had clamps & steers precisely. The engine is powerful and responds well at all speeds & gears.

The only thing I question is the snow/ice thing. But the guys here seem happy with the RIGHT tires.

ok we all know the engine of the Z is powerful but what about the sound of the engine? does it sound good? i got a dc5s now and the sound of the engine is so nice(even stock) but if u install a V2 that's much nicer, so anyone who drove any high rev cars before can answer this question for me? thank you

I have mixed feelings about the sound of the Z. It has a throaty growl when you start it up...nice tenor growl. It kinda purrs at low RPM's but bubbles out of the pipe like it wants to spit out more exhaust. Doesn't have that high revving sound like the S2000 nor throaty like a V8. It's somewhere in between and changes depending on what you're doing. It has a subtle but brute sports car tone to it that doesn't sound artificial like your average commuter with a fart can attached to the end. Am I confusing you yet?

Make sure you ask the dealer to rev the car while you're standing on the outside. The car sounds very different inside vs. out. Inside you hear alot of growl but not the exhaust....

aaah...you'll see!

The 911 Turbo, unless you're talking pre 993 (95-98) is All-wheel-drive not rear-wheel-drive.
The 993 all wheel drive system is set up so that under normal conditions the torque is split 95% rear, 5% front. When the rear wheels slip, the maximum front torque is 20% under acceleration and 40% under breaking. I have a 993 C4 Cab that I've driven over 110k miles. I go through 2-3 sets of rear tires before I change the fronts, and I've yet to completely wear through a set of front tires. The Infiniti/Nissan all wheel drive system is similar. It sends all the torque to the rear under normal conditions until it detects some slippage in the rear wheels. This preserves the rear wheel drive character of these vehicles and the advantages of all wheel drive under adverse conditions.

i got a dc5s now
I don't mean to sound stupid, but what is a dc5s?

Another good one is to just roll down the windows and drive around inside an enclosed concrete parking structure. The reverberation sounds quite nice.

Is Z is hard to drive?

OH YES! Biggest problem for me is let that gas pedal go when in the city!

As for RWD... it's my first RWD and it took me a day or so to adjust. I drive it in the winter too, if you know what I mean...
