Default Nissan will give you a Nismo setup if your tires feather??

If you experience tire feathering Nissan will upgrade/change your suspension for free as a fix? Am I hearing this right?

I'd figure they'd just replace your tires.

heh, good luck convincing your dealer to give you a 1500+ suspension because your tires wear uneven... if they do, let me know where...

hahaha no way in hell.

they will adjust your alignment... give you a new set of tires, and send you on your way.

I seriously doubt that they will give a new suspension no matter how worn the tires are. In fact, I think they only replace tires if they are extremely worn. They didn’t replace mine; they just rotated them and did an alignment.

BTW does the Nismo suspension solve the tire wear problem? I've heard it mentioned before but nothing definitive.

I had a small case of feathering. The dealer is going to rotate the two front tires. I am told the alignment is within spec.

They replaced both front tires under warrenty. i also noticed that the new tires they put on are lower profile and have a more agressive thread than the ones on the rear.

Wait a minute. I'm confused now. I thought the tyres on the Z can not be rotated. Did I read the manual wrong?

you can unmount the tires and put them on the other side. so they are facing the right direction again.

this isnt exactly your standard rotating which is cross front left to rear right.

good one....we are forgetting the cloth seats too. They will change those to the Nismo (your choice of color) seats if those begin to feather.

They are only pointless to you because you are not seeing that all I am trying to do is sort out the BS from fact.

I am a new Z owner and want to find out all I can.

I got people left and right telling me this and that and I need this or that. Most of it sounds like BS.

I post all these questions or statements to see what fu-- is up.

I do beileve I saw someone on this board, who got the Nismo suspension as a fix. However, he had to pay the differance between the price of what it owuld have cost them to fix it, and the Nismo suspenion. Which was of course most of the cost itself. ( They were going to replace two parts of the suspenion with another two parts of longer length. ( Same thing they were going to do to my last Z )

Well if they are legit questions, then my post was stupid. Whoever is telling you this stuff, might not be all there.
