[QUOTE=grimm66;10111400]That is a decent price for the mods mentioned... Since he said it was it was all done at the Nissan dealer he should be able to prove that with receipts.

To the guy above me...
1. There is nothing wrong with getting an auto trans
Well obviously its preference, but many prefer stick.
2.Whats wrong with stock wheels?
they are hideous from 03-05
3. You can't keep the oem hood with that blower.
ok.
4. The dash kit can come off.
gonna cost money
5. Whats wrong with a 10 year old car? All 350z's look the same anyway.
he can get a newer one for the same price maybe more..[/QUOTanswered

Devin,

It sounds like you're going to pass on that ride and that's a good thing.

If you're still having thoughts on buying it, I would run far far away from that ride, the obvious reasons for skipping on that ride has already been mentioned in this thread.

I just bought my 350Z 3 weeks ago and I took my time buying I drove multiple ones till I found the right one. The one that was modded drove like absolute chit compared to the to others I drove.

So take your time try to find one as stock as possible and do your self a huge favor and get a M/T you'll be happier in the long run.

Auto-Lame....However its a great way to save money if you wanted to mod the car anyways. HOWEVER, as someone who has tried going that route once or twice before I began doing all my own work, it will go very well or very badly lol.

I agree, from the posts I think I will stick to a stock 350z for now. I don't want to end up with a blown engine in a couple of weeks. Thank you for your input!

Haha yeah, its definitely a gamble for sure! But I think I will have to pass. I found a nice red one with a body kit and a exhaust which shall suffice for now.

Hoenstly dude auto or manual doesnt matter just get the car stock, you can always replace the tranny once it goes out which is what im planning on doing but for right now the car drives like i want it to auto or not.

You're better off buying a M/T than trying to swap one in. It's probably more trouble than it's worth.

+1 on the rest of your post though

Na i have seen it done already its not too hard, you can even use the same tcu from a 5at to a 6mt, but thats my plan though, i could care less about the tranny, i just need my car to take a turn like i want to

but op its your choice, drive both and make your decision

+2

Point is getting the car STOCK. From there, transmission is purely preference.

You can always swap later if you get serious about power. We all spend money on our cars one way or another
