Got a call from my salesman. Says that my car, along with another that they were expecting for an early October delivery showed on an Oct 11 report as "INP" indicating in-process.

The other car just showed up at the dealership today, unannounced.

He says they normally don't deliver on weekends; so hopefully it's early next week for mine.

 

Here's to hoping your car arrives next week!!

(I'm kinda in the same situation myself, hoping my car finds its way here earlier than expected)

 

Additional info:

August production. I called NNA on 8/28 to see if they had any info and they had my VIN. This was only my second call to them since I placed the order in April.

My salesman called me 2 days later for expected delivery schedule.

 

I just got a similar call today myself. The dealership calls to tell me not only do they finally have a vin for me, but that the car is at the port. They are showing an expected delivery date of 10/3. I am torn as to whether I am hoping it comes in sooner or not. My MR2 is still not sold, although I haven't been trying too hard. And I haven't squared away all my financing and insurance. Looks like I have to get on the ball.

Zbart, I hope you get your car next week. It doesn't make up for those late deliveries, but I love hearing about the early ones.
