Default Clutch questions...

I have had my Z for about 2 months now and I love it. I just can't seem to get used to the clutch.

I have driven manual trannys for 16 years, I have auto-x'd, my last car was an A4 turbo 5 sp, so I'm not a complete noob.

Basically, I find it hard to start with any smoothness, that is, it is "jerkey" when starting from rest. What's more, I can hear the clutch "rubbing" as if the clutch plates are non-parallel. This is a slight sound, but noticeable.

Are these normal issues or do I need to have it looked at?

The clutch has been the subject of great debate on these boards. From what you stated above to overly high clutch engagement to premature clutch wear... just to name the notable ones from the top of my head.

Do an advanced search with the word "clutch" in the title only. You should have at least a half a year's worth of reading there.
