Default racing gloves

I'm looking to see if I can get me a pair. What do I need to look for, and where might I look to buy?

Default I like "The Run" gloves

Ive been trying to find the same gloves the guy in "The Run" has, they are like a brownish leather mesh, i like them, a bit more stylish, and not as rice looking as the simpsons

i like the Sparco gloves. they have a lot of different models.

the key is that it fits you. then you look for all the different things each has, which might be for you or not.

You can also try OMP gloves. They are very popular in Europe and in some circles over here.

I bought these last year for HPDE events, and like them a lot! The suede works great on the leather wheel. They are from Impact, Bill Simpson's NEW company. And, they match my Z!

Don't forget to check out www.summitracing.com

I'm not sure what they offer online but the catalog I get has a few varieties of racing gloves.

(Are you looking for STREET type Driving gloves, or fire proof nomex RACING gloves?)

No offense guys, but I would just feel really, really silly wearing these on the drive to work everyday.

I've got a pair of Sparco Speeds for track work and although I don't wear them on the street, I'd feel half as silly doing so considering some of the hideous exterior modifications that many members have done to their vehicles.

Which is worse? Pair of racing gloves or puke inducing body kit and 20s?

Yes, well I definitely would rather be seen driving the streets in a pair of Sparcos than a kit/paint job like that Jersey Zebra Z that was posted on here recently.

BTW, droideka, nice avatar. SLAYER \m/

its not that the sparco gloves or any other racing gloves look bad, its just that wearing on them on the street is kinda....ehh...pointless. are you gonna wear racing shoes too? like booger said, unless its cold, then whats the use?
