Default Woohoo! Picked up my Z tonight!

I know...no one cares...but I've been waiting to post that for over seven months.

My car showed up in the inventory yesterday, and arrived at the dealer this morning. It was prepped and ready to go by 5:00 PM. Delivery was smooth sailing...I highly recommend O'Neil Nissan to anyone in S.E. PA. Ask for Stan.

Random first impressions...

The car is simply drop dead gorgeous. I know everyone and their mother has chrome silver, but it just looks amazing. The paint was perfect...didn't notice any peel, but I didn't go over it with a loupe. Too eager to get behind the wheel. I'll take a closer look tomorrow.

This car is tight. They were definately thinking sports car when they designed it. Suspension is firm, but not punishing. Clutch is smooth and solid...and the gear throws are crazy short. As others have stated, the car wants to go! Tough to keep the revs down.

Interior is OK...not outstanding, but not bad. I liked the Z32 interior better. The seats are great though...and the carbon cloth is awesome. Only interior complaint so far: I switched the headlights from lowbeam to parking twice while activating the turn signal...the force necessary to spin between headlight options could be greater IMO to prevent this from happening.

Seating position was great. At 5'7", I was concerned about the "driving a bathtub" sensation, but no worries. Visibility out the front and sides is fine, rear three quarter and behind are typical for this style car...nothing that won't be adjusted to easily. I felt totally comfortable from the second I sat in it.

All in all, the car simply rocks. Great job Nissan. And the stares you get from other drivers are hilarious...the car draws looks like moths to a flame. Can't wait to drive it tomorrow!

Other side of town...Warminster. My sisters both live in Chester county (Kimberton and Chester Springs) and I am frequently out there on weekends. Will be tomorrow to show off my new baby.

Default hmmm

Should I be worried?

My car showed up on the nissan inventory early weds morn.

Now it's nearly saturday and I still haven't received my car.

Everyone else seems to get their car within 1-2 days of it showing up on the inventory.

Do I have something to be concerned about since mine isn't here yet?

Congrats!
