The 4 point harness are not street legal here.
Because Nismo is a 100% Nissan owned company they cannot make really wild mods like Veilside or Top Secret.
I'm pretty sure that the car is electronically limited to 180 km/h, just like all other Japanese vehicles.

The engine has got a lot (really) of mods.

Default NISMO 350Z-GT. 300hp for $65,000

OK so here it is.

http://www.nismo.co.jp/complete/z_s-tunegt/index.html

Those long nose and the tails are for homologation purposes. The Fairlady Z (350Z) will replace the Skyline GT-R for GT Championship Races (JGTC) from this season. To improve the aerodynamics on the race car, Nissan needs to actually produce the similar aero kits on the production vehicles (its the rule). That's why the skirts look a bit awkward.

The rear brake vents seem to be fake, but will be a real one on GT race cars, of course.

The engine is the latest "S-Tune" by Nismo. 300 hp, no turbos or S/C. Not that exciting when Central 20 could easily do 340 hp, also NA. Air duct and engine covers are carbonfibre.

Wheels are Nismo 19 inchers. A lot of mods on the chassis too. The new rear wing is angle-adjustable.

DVD sat navs, ETC (the EZ pass), and winter packs are also available for extra cost. They even have the "de-tuned" non-Nismo clutches and flywheels for amateur drivers.

There's also a Nissan std model called type E;

http://www2.nissan.co.jp/Z/Z33/0310/LIMITED/main1.html

The type E, without any of the Nismo mods, costs the same as the Nismo GT.
Obviously this is sold for race-base purpose.

So, tell me what you think.

I think the type E looks terrible, elongating the front and rear may be great for the track, but it ruins the lines of the production car. I wouldn't pay extra for any of the exterior mods, but some of the interior are nice, like the seats. I never could get past the exterior though, its just a bad design. I give it an F.

"The 4 point harness are not street legal here."

Some harnesses are DOT compliant, such as the ones made by Schroth. I've had nothing but compliments from officers when they pull me over. Usually they comment on me driving too quick and say that they arent worried for me, but worried for other negligent drivers. Kinda cool to hear an officer pull you over and say "be careful" -- its like getting tucked in before you go to sleep, how cute. hehe

Man, I wonder if my buddy in Japan can get me some of those parts. I really like the wing, Nismo interior stuff like the kick plates, seats, speedo dials.

I like the look a lot, but not the rear bumper. The front looks kinda Supra-ish; the wing kinda GTRr33-ish, and the side skirts kinda Veilsidish.

But guys, you gotta remember that the car was made for one reason, for homoligation purposes and to get the Z in the 500 class in the JGTC.

I'm thinking of getting that wing and combine it with the greddy kit. Need those GT4 19"s.

When I got my Z, I was planning on keeping it bone stock, but that idea's out the window.

I believe that unless you have a roll cage you DO NOT want a four point harness. Dig around on some of the racing forums (you'll see a bunch of posts regarding these on BMW forums.) Basically the theory is that you don't want to be strapped upright into your seat while the roof is crushing in on you (if you don't have a roll cage.)

but why put racing seats in and still use the three point seat belt? kinda defeats the purpose of having them, except if your just going for looks.
