OP just remember, and any true car guy can tell you this, it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.

Frankie, to answer your question; yes your car is the faster of the two. It has about 80
more hp, weighs a bit less, has more lateral acceleration on a skidpan (v²/r) and even has a tighter turning circle (important for making a quick U-turn to evade the police).
Do race your brother, but hold back and let him win. He will lord it over you forever, bring it up at every family gathering, and tell every hot new girl you bring around. This is good for his low self-esteem issues, but more important it’s good for you! In the parlance of this forum it will help you to not be such a b!tch.
Consider this, the first generation of Porsche Tubros were fast, exotic, and ruled the higher regions of the car food chain. Today their puny 260 horsepower is eclipsed by common Hondas and Hyundias. OP if you get in your brother's good graces he might let you keep your car. Be sure to not get caught by the police though, you don't want swat coming to your house and disrespecting your whole family cause someone narc'd you out.
