Sweet upgrade man! I have seen reviews of these kind of breaking real easy.. like the little holes where you connect the body panels together tend to break easy due to wind pressure while driving. Regardless I hope she holds up well to the abuse.

Grats on the upgrade dude. I remember a few years back there was a stock Zo6 lapping tuned cars at Infineon. I was impressed. Granted, the driver was extremely skilled.

Oh man a Viper would be so sick. But I'm sure insurance would be more for that than the Z06.

Hit the multi-quote button on the ones you want to quote, then hit the quote button. Bingo. Wallah.

Says the guy with an Automatic sports car...What's with former Z owners going to Corvettes or New Z owners coming from Corvettes? The Z and Corvette don't really share much in common besides them being true sports cars. When I get rid of my Z and M3 I'm aiming for a DB9, V8 Vantage, 911, or Cayman. Forget a Corvette even though I like them to death lol.

Maybe. But I never drove the Z much to begin with. It had a little over 36k miles.

This. I've toyed with the idea of trading in the Z for a Vette. I like the exterior looks and love the performance but that interior is just plain nasty

You guys have no idea how NICE the interiors are on the new vettes.

I had a 2001 Z06. If you squinted your eyes you would think you were sitting in a cavalier. If you shut your eyes completely and used your tactile sense to feel all the cheap plastics gaudy big ***** and switches, and you would SWEAR you were in a cavalier. That interior was on you like a cheap suit.

Z06s are the reason I doubt I will ever FI the Z which is paid off. If I ever get the funds to go TT on the Z, it would be too easy to sell it and get a Z06, especially with the new Vettes out, the price for performance would be too logical to get a Z06 rather than mess with what to get to go FI and keep it "reliable".

I agree the interiors on "older" Z06s are trash, but looking at my semi scratched creaky interior on the Z, I think I would be able to manage.

Not a fan of the color personally, but I love Z06s. Good pick up.

Who cares? The Z is wack..... It's a car that had it's time in my life.. Z06 was by far a better choice over an unreliable boosted Z even if I built it myself....

Good riddens.........

lol. The unreliability never came from the engine...it came from the other nonsense that a "show car" required. But I agree. Thanks man. Now you get a 911 turbo and we can have a mini supercar crew with russels GTR lol.
