Default All of you tall people out there

Hey,

For all of you people over 6', i am 6'3", how do you fit with the non-powered seats? I know you can't adjust the height with anything but the touring's seats. Can you see out of the windshield alrgiht? Does your head come close to hitting any pillars?

I am 6'2" and have no problems at all. I have tons of leg room, more then any other car. I chose the 350Z because of that major issue, with the S2000 there's no room at all in that thing.

BTW: I have the Enthusiast model with the cloth seats and i enjoy the ride very much!

6'6" here with no problems (even with a helmet).

But the heavier you are, the higher you are sitting (particularly with the seat bolsters). I fit comfortably at 6'6" and 190lbs but I think it would be tough if I was 6'6" and 260lbs.

6'6 here - no problems. It was one of the sports cars that I was absolutely sure I wouldnt fit in by the looks of it. My wife pushed me to try it, and, well its sitting in my garage right now with about 7 coats of wax on it!!!. (Its winter)

I'm 6'3", and fit fine, but can't wear a helmet. How does a 6'6" guy get in there with a helmet? You must be all legs.

I need to get a custom mount for a racing seat (to lower it) so I can drive with a helmet and get to the track (someday when I've got some extra cash).

6' 2" for me; 6' 4" for my boys. We all fit fine.

Nissan seems to understand Americans are tall.......which is more than I can say for Ford (e.g the new height challanged T-Bird).

6'4 here and the fit is about good as it gets for people this tall. I have the performance model and there is a manual height adjustment FYI. Good Luck bro...

6'2", I fit fine for the stock seats, but I installed the kirk racing roll bar for Solo I and I need a new non-adjustable seat to drop me down an inch or two. When I put on my helmet and harness, the top of my helmet is under the top of the roll bar by 1/2 inch. I have to raise the bar 1 inch and get a new seat to drop my butt. Other than that, Z has lots of room...

The taller you are the better in these cars. That way you see more out the front (your bumper). I think you will fit easier in the touring seats though, b/c you can lower the seat like you mentioned.

That's the truth. My wife (all 5'3" of her) has a hell of a time seeing when she drives (both times in the last 6 months) but at 6'4", 195lbs., it offers a great vantage point. No problems with the seats but my back just fits between the bolsters.

Has anybody sat in the Sparco EVO2 seats? They say that they are built for heavier individuals. The only thing I don't like about the stock seats is that I don't fit between the seat bottom bolsters. My thighs are up on them which gets uncomfortable over time. I fit fine between the seatback bolsters.

I'm only 6' and 190 lb. but my thighs also sit almost on top of the bolsters and so do the sides of my back and shoulders. It makes my back and knees hurt over a long trip and I am continually adjusting my seating position (myself and the seat). I am not sure if I should get EVO2 or regular sized aftermarket seats. Are reg. aftermarkets the same width as stock? If so I need the EVO2's, right?
