Knockoff products, lack of intelligence, and the hubris they inspire. Also, PWR forum.

Like I said, find a topic and its been discussed. Unless it's an obscure topic it can be referenced

The FAQ's can be a starting point and even explicitly explain how to research a topic
You guys should close the technical forums from new threads/posts then. Nothing left to say right?

There is plenty left to say....

I've been a member here for a short while, but I've owned Z's since 2004 and never felt the need to ask questions that have already been asked hundreds of times over. Everything a noob can think to ask HAS been covered in the FAQ's or by using the search function- it has, if you don't believe me SEARCH

The threads that get everyone flamed are by far the most annoying new owners asking opinions about "should I get a cool exhaust that gives me 100whp???" or what color to paint their wheels. We are not you. It is YOUR car. Opinions are ok to ask, but to get into heated online arguments over asking the opinion of everyone on here is just ridiculous.

The "Bullies" on this site, as previous listed (pyshin, SR71- yes, you too syner) have helped more than hurt anyone. If you know the answer to your own question and can't take the heat, just keep it to yourself. c'mon man, really?

Facebook is 1000000000x worse than here. Hilariously depressing.

I am very tempted to start posting screen caps, but my lazy side does not feel like putting the effort to blur out peoples names...

^^^ If you're talking about Facebook, I've thought of doing the same many times but the stupidity is so widespread among the kids on there asking and giving "advice" it's staggering.

I just joined those groups to get deals on used parts... but in all honesty I've gotten most of my parts from the forums and have met true enthusiasts in the process.

I just recently joined a local facebook group some of the advices given there are bad and some of the cars are vomit. Example: saw a 350z with a gtr front :smh: And I think I saw someone inquired the Aston Martin front :smh:

my350z>facebook knowledge wise. It's very active on facebook, no one post on the forum anymore.

It's funny, as I read the responses on this thread, this keeps popping up:

This message is hidden because [insert name here] is on your ignore list.

It's a great tool. You should use it.

+1

I also think some people are too sensitive at times and get their jimmies rustled way too quickly

As a staff we do monitor things to make sure people are respectful to each other.

These two sentences contradict each other.
