Default Rough Ride

My track jarred me over bumps, I noticed by the tire inflation gauge that my tires when heated gain about three lbs. pressure, so I run 31/32 lbs cold and when my tires are heated they get up to recommended 35 libs and my car rides much better

Default Re: Rough Ride

The 35 lb recommendation is for cold tires. Running them lower will soften up the ride a bit, but at the expense of handling. Also, underinflated tires are subject to uneven wear and overheating when run at speed, but 3 lb shouldn't make a lot of difference. Monitor the tire wear on the outside edges for underinflation wear.
