Default Getting there.

So I live in IL, and my Z is my DD...I slid into a snow bank a few months ago

Anyway I went through insurance got the check bla bla bla. It broke my bumper center radiator support and driver fender well. Since then I've got it fixed. What do you guys think?

I guess every snow cloud has a chrome silver lining!
Cause the snow....and your z is chrome silver...
But I can dig it, get some spacers to get the wheels to sit flush and I'll say bam spot on zed.

That's a bumper that needs sides/rear and or some aggressive wheels to make it flow, IMO.

Hmmm I didn't even notice the stock sides.
I feel like the z was exceptionally pretty from the factory.

Spacers and sides and rear are already in the plans and test pipes, plenum spacer and intake...just gotta make that $$

BTW, what spacers would I need its all stock, I'm thinkin the 20mm?

And the Z's are naturally pretty stock I'm just giving her some makeup

I can't remember the spacer size, I'm sure someone knows off the top of their head.

I'd throw the z in the ring with a mark iv supra, a fd rx7, and an e30 m3. All beautiful cars in their own right. I'm probably just used to the z looks....and there's more of them running around.

Don't even bother with spacers on the stock 17's, hands down the ugliest stock wheels for the Z (I have a set too lol). Put that money towards a new set or at least upgrade to the 06+ 18's.

Yea that bumper looks way out of place when everything else is stock. if u wanna get spacers 25mm up front and 30mm in the back should work for you.with that kind of aggresive body kit 17s look tiny, ur gonna have to go with 19s.

A little too elaborate for my taste. I like simple bumpers, but if you do buy some more parts, then it definitely can flow pretty well. Just do it right though, cuz with this specific bumper, it could be the beginning of something ricey if you dont make the rest of the car tasteful.

+1. Will need to have the sides and rear to complete the look. Like Bmurray implied, because of the aggressiveness of the bumper. But it's a start.

The chosen color for the wheels does not match IMO. The OEM complimented the car better IMO...

Looks like the car now has saline-injected lips and oversized vertical dimples.

Yea i know what you mean. I am VERY picky about what I want. It took me 2 weeks looking at different bumpers to figure out I wanted this one. I have a vision of what I want it to look like when it's done. It's just finding the right parts and saving up that's gonna take awhile. I want it to look aggressive but clean at the same time.

And the wheels color: it's temporary but I couldn't stand the silver on silver. And I didn't want black, that would have looked like someone just said #%&$ it and flat blacked them with 99 cent cans. I at least tried to make them a little bearable for being stock 17's.
You can't really tell but they are metallic.

Paint on the bumper looks iffy.

The bumper doesn't flow with anything else. It now just looks like the car has a geeky smile.

I know :/ the paint actually kinda got ****ed up and I couldn't afford to buy more paint and have it painted again.

And the angle doesn't help. I worried about that too that the bumper would be lower than the rest of the car and look retarded but it's just as low as the rest of the car.

In time, piece by piece.

As far as a rear bumper I'm not sure yet, idk if I should get sides or a rear yet, or save longer and get both, and enough paint to have front(again) and rear bumper and skirts painted, by someone else.

Without everything else to make it complete, it's really hard to pull off the Amuse front bumper. Boomerz33 is all together, everything flows, and it looks beautiful. Your car would look better dropped with the stock front bumper and original silver painted wheels, at least until you get a full kit and nicer wheels.
