Nissan sold 2,431 Zs last month.

On a related note, it's interesting to see that the RX-8 has lost quite a bit of momentum compared to the Z. Back in December 03, they were almost neck and neck: an impressive (given how few cars Mazda sells compared to Nissan + Infiniti) 2079 RX-8s vs. 2124 350Zs. For January 04, it was 1789 RX-8s vs. 2431 350Zs.

The Z has sold remarkable well considering it was lauched in bad economic times.Nissan has a winner on it's hands for sure.

 

The three Nissan dealers in my area never seemed to have more than 3 to 5 Z's on the lot at a time. The Mazda dealer that I pass each day seems to have about 15 RX-8's out there since they've been introduced. I've wondered if that means that they're selling a lot or the cars are just sitting on the lot...

damn - they sold a whopping 7 qx4's this january - not sure how that happened, but that just seems odd.

And out here in jersey on rte 22 we have crystal auto mall that has at least 20 rx8s all in the back of the lot. - i think there all sitting - i normally see a lot more Z's than rx8s, would be neat to graph sales of em, or if they split it up into states.

 

I`am not surprised, the dealer who I bought my Z from also sells Masda and I made a lot of trips to the Nissan dealer just to be near a Z while I was waiting for my Z to arrive. There were a lot of RX-8 to be had on the parking lot, and the z`s would come and go. LOVE this car

QX4s have been discountinued a while back and got replaced by FX. So they are getting rid of the very last QX4s that got off the assembly line.
