Damn that sucks. I posted here a few months ago about a coworker I had given a rid to who had opened her door (well, my door really but on her side) right into the car parked next to me. There was only a slight ding/chip but it still ticked me off. It's really annoying when people can't be bothered to pay attention especially when they know that you care about your car and you're doing them a favor in the first place (the ride). I know most people out there view their cars as appliances, but when they know you really like your car the least they could do is pay a tiny bit of attention.
