To answer the OP, there is absolutely no way of knowing the value of either car based on the random things you've given us.
KBB and research are your friends. Look at the sales forums here to see how much mods raise the value (add 10% of the mod cost to the KBB and you're probably still too high) on a vehicle. Do that for both and compare. Nothing that we can do (or as you've easily noticed, will do) that you can't.

Thanks for an actual answer. The only thing with the 350z that I'm not sure about is the procharger. I just don't know how reliable it is. I am new to all this so all these comments are no help.

I think you mean subtract 10% of the mod cost from KBB. Mods don't add any value to a car. End of discussion.

Thank you. Unless the build was done and documented by a well known shop "dynosty, forged, etc" mods detract from the value of a car.

When will people realize that just because you slapped a body kit on a car it doesn't add any value.

Just going off what you posted why on gods green earth would you trade a built z with 30k miles for a built gti with over 100k miles.
1. german cars are a god damn pain to work on and the fact that it has over 100k miles means its probably going to start needing major work in the next 30-40k.
2. get rid of the lambo doors. if I see a dude with lambo doors I assume he probably sucks a lot of dick.
3.do I even need to comment on how much nicer a z is then a gti? brand new theres like a 10k difference in price.
4. idk what your issue with space is at 18 years old unless you have a kid? if your referring to you not being able to fit a bunch of people in your car that's a good thing, why would you want a bunch of teenagers in your car tearing it up anyways.
At the end of the day its all up to you but unless your trading cars and getting like 5-7k cash aswell id say your stupid.

Okay well just understand that I am new at this. With that being said I'm just not sure how exactly reliable the procharger is. I know that it's a lot of power for a daily driver to make sure it's completely maintenance right.

from my research the procharger can be ran on a stock engine quite reliably (with a reasonable amount of boost obviously) so as long as your not running some crazy amount of boost and your tune wasn't done by a moron you should be good to go. the tune is what id worry about if I were you, id contact the seller and ask him who did the tune aswell as doing some extensive research on the shop and tuner. theres a lot of "tuners" out there, very few of which actually do their job well. another big thing to remember is your car is going to treat you the exact same as you treat it. if your mashing the gas, redlining it, doing burn outs, and trying to power shift. its not going to last very long at all. if you do the required maintenance and treat the car right, then it will be fine. this doesn't mean you cant drive the car like its built to be driven but theres a fine line.

Thank you for the helpful comment. From the past paperwork on car it looks like it has a lot of problems with oil leaking from the valve gaskets.

That right there could be a major red flag. granted no matter how great the build if your car is f/I your going to have issues, its inevitable. I don't mean constantly, but its not going to be on par with a stock engine. I don't know much about that issue in particular, someone more experienced with builds could probably help you but if its been a recurring issue that's probably not good. id recommend taking the car to an experienced shop in your area and getting them to do a good check on the engine, so you know exactly what your dealing with. then you can go from there and either fix whats wrong or trade the car and go in another direction. keep in mind if the car has an issue and you continue to drive on it, it could end up causing some major issues that will require much more money spent fixing. in the future when picking up a car with a build done, you really should get it completely checked out by someone because as we all know you cant trust people and you never know why they are getting rid of it. the last thing you want to do is buy a money pit riddled with issues.
