Default Any Base Models Out There?

Just curious, anyone have a base model Z? It seems like an incredible deal, but I have yet to see a picture or read a message from someone with a base.

I'll have one soon, a Silverstone with the aero package. ETA is 10/7, from Mossy El Cajon.

Yep...Got the chrome silver base model with no options.

I love it. I love watching people drool and then learn I paid ~$27K. (msrp plus some tax and title)

Regarding the similiarities:
The engine is a beast and the styling is perfect. The suspension and cornering abilities are just incredible. The ergonomics of the cockpit are perfect for my size (6ft, 180 lbs).

Regarding the differences:
The stereo is great....at least to me. The cloth seats are awesome. The headlights are perfect and no one flashes me because they think I have my high beams on (when I don't) at night. The VDC/LSD...don't have it....don't want it...yep sometimes I chirp the tires when it would have stopped me. I can't wait until my first 1000 miles is done. Getting closer everyday. The ride is smooth and quiet, do not think I will every switch to 18in wheels. Not sure how others like the metal brake/gas/clutch pads, but I have had no problems with slipping if my shoe is wet...(curious if nonbase model pedals are slippery?)Maybe pictures later...

I love the Z.

I'm expecting my base around the first week of October. Dealer told me the base models are getting built last, and the touring models first, which comes as no surprise.

Hmm.....I got mine from the first boat to arrive in Newport News. Maybe they are building them differently now, but at least some of the base models were built pretty early.

Might want to check your numbers again. The base model is $26.8k for just msrp and destination. Maybe you have a really low tax rate. I don't know but I'd hate for you to get sticker shock when you go to pick her up.
It can be done, I paid 27,300 (actually 27,265 I think) out the door. With the sales tax of 3% in NC and some title and document fees, I think I paid slightly under MSRP for my Z.
