Yeah I had to buy the big wing. There was no way around it. They told me that the big wing would not fit unless the trunk spoiler was installed also. I was just told by Superautobacs, the place where I ordered it from, that the kit will be in by the end of this month. Thats 4 weeks over due. I want to order the Top Secret Hood and was going to the other day when they told me abou the shipping. They told me that it would take 6-8 weeks. Thats the same thing they told me about the kit. I was trying to get the car ready for HIN, but thats now out of the story. MOB says that it wont have time to paint the car evan if the kit comes in right at the end of the month. At first this ordering **** was very discouraging, but now I see that it i svery political. If I was someone like, I dont know....a famous japanese car driver or someone with big bucks, or someone who is famous in the industry, i bet that I would have gotten my kit and anything else i wanted right on time or evan before that. Its starting to make me wonder. When I walked into Superautobacs, being that I am black, they thought I was there to fix up a truck or there to buy 22's. But when I told them that I had a z, they then thought it was a 240 or 300. They were like what year? And I said I told you it was a 350 and they said oh. They then asked to see the car after I gave them a list of what I wanted. Whzt if I didnt have the car there to begin with. They act like they have never seen a z before and they had the TIEN 350z parked out front. When all of this is over, I promise you, I will have people begging me to put stickers on my car. But I promise you....My car will be sticker free...ha ha!!

Autobacs has been known for bad customer service from most people, including myself.

All good bodykits require at least 1.5 months before they arrive most likely it will be 3-4 months. Its beyond me why shops keep on promising that they will have it in a week or so. Thats why its a lot better to deal with smaller shops they tend to be realistic and they actually tell you the truth. Besides, its easier to stablish relationships with the said shops.

I like the gunmetal on orange... the bodykit should finish the whole look

ok bbt,

let me ask you this. I am abou to order the Top Secret Hood from Bulletproof. The guy on the phone was pretty hinest (at least I think he was). He says that shipping for air transport is about $600 which brings the out the door price of the hood at $1700. Is he telling the truth or should I just wait out the 6-10 weeks for boat ride. then the hood cost $1145.00? What should I do?

Those guys are cool we've gotten some stuff from them before. $600 is a lot of money to waste. $600 Thats one of your volk rims with crappy tires.

Not even the bigger shops keep those hood on stock coz of their price. Only guys with good taste can appreciate such things. So what ever happens you'll have to wait.

Honestly I dont think wasting $600 is worth it to have it air shipped. Besides you mentioned HIN? Hahaha... cars like yours or like mine for that matter cant win at those shows. Ricey cars win there. Try and enter the showoff shows... they appreciate hardcore JDM parts that you've got and you actually have what it takes to take home a trophy.

Hey BBT,

Thanks for the input on HIN. Yea you're right on the shipping. I will wait. This is my first real attempt at this import thing. So far it hasnt been that bad other than the incident at SAB. But you just saved me some registration on future HIN car shows. Hope you dont mind me asking what or where the next potential show that a 350z should show up at is? And I also would like to possibly consult you in the future for other possible advice, is that ok?
