well about a month ago i hit a deer on my road doing about 60 and lost contol of the z......27k in damage.....found out today that it was going to be totaled...so today i bought a 04 black performance model with the new chrome 5 spoke 18 inch wheel option..... wish i could have gotton another brick yard but all the ones still out there are to damn far away.......

i really like the new one though......
just hate the whole break in period thing........

I love my Z but given the opportunity (to hit a deer) to switch cars, I don't know if I'd come back to the same car, maybe go for a G35 coupe. Well, at least your okay and have a car again.

 

I guess the leather touring seats were never luxurious enough for you??

I can't imagine trading my Z in for the G. People draw comparisons because they're the same platform but to me it's two different styles.

Anyhow..Melissa.. Good luck with your new Z and as you may already know.. it's going to get better!

It's funny, I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how many would go out and get another Z right away. I love my Z, but I get the itch to "wear different shoes" pretty often. I would probably look for a 2000 Corvette.

not sure when they exactly came out....we had 2 of them in in the last week......they kinda look like a chrome corvette z06 wheel....look pretty good .....but would gladly trade for some satin nismo wheels LOL...i really like the nismos....ill try to post some pics soon of the new whip with the wheels on it

I'm with you we like the Z but most likely we would end up with something else if we lost him. It would feel weird and bring back memories of the original which I dont want!

The Nissan site says the 18 Chrome wheels are a $1660 dealer installed option.

I'm surprised nobody has posted a pic yet before this.

 

not a dealer installed option....listed wrong....when the dealer orders the car he can order it with or without the wheels....
we orderd 2 of them at my dealership....both black performance models.....

but yes its a 1660 dollar option

 

maybe my dealership is the first one to order the cars and recieve them with the wheels....be kinda cool if im the only one around with them
