Nissan Z Concert promotion - St louis today 11:AM
A Group called Train?
Different - yes, but it would be nice if the intended audience could actually GET to the marketing event, hence I believe the next concert date should have a little bit more lead time, and tell people to get there early in case weather will affect another venue.
Have Fun in The Gateway City!!!!
Cheers!

Try this....http://www.trainline.com/disco_index.html.... click on "Drops of Jupiter" or go to the album "One and a half" and click on "Meet Virginia". You got to watch MTV more.... Thanks for the feedback.

Zisme,
I was hoping for a webcast. Two hours is short notice to make it half way across the country.
How about putting one of their songs on a CD and sending it to all the customers who have taken delivery, along with instructions on how to defeat the Bose auto-EQ/VOL "feature"???
Now that's something us customers could really appreciate!!

As a longtime champion of the Z, we wanted to let you know about a series of free, unannounced concerts by some of today's most interesting musicians. It's our way of celebrating the release of the new Z and saying thanks to our supporters.
For obvious reasons, these shows will not be promoted through conventional means. The series is underway and will continue through early November. You can find information about past shows, and a timer counting down to the next event at www.z.com/ztour.
The locations and artists will be revealed just before show time, so keep your eye on the site.
We hope you and your users will enjoy a show near you in the coming weeks. And thanks again for supporting the Z.

I think it might be a concert by Siphon. If Nissan has Siphon play at one of their concerts, then I'll go.

You gotta admit - it's different. It's a bit refreshing to see a car company do something a little different.

Well it rained on Nissan's parade (err Z Concert) today, but the tens of thousands of train fans in attendance had a GREAT time!!!( see earlier post about Rocket Scientists)

IMHO, Nissan needs a few Shift_Clues and a little Shift_Help with their marketing, if the program continues to give people last minute notice, it can take 3 hours to get from one end of Chicago to another, where the 9/18/02 concert will be held. Yer spending a lot of money, I hope you are getting your money's worth of effect.
Rob, John, Dean, Scott, and all the other Nissan PR people: If you can give people just a little better heads up about this, your security will not outnumber the attendees.
I know you don't want the mess at the Beatles Abbey Road sessions. At least have some Z fans enjoy the concert their purchases of the past have paid for, and be a part of a new Z marketing campaign seems like a better way to get the most bang for your proverbial marketing buck.
Cheers!
