Default What to look for in a used Z?

I do not know if you would consider it used, the car has 1,800KM on it. A family guy who likes fast cars got it and returned it for practicality purposes. I am sure he had his fun with it.

The Z here runs at around 55 K USD, so u guys are lucky... I am getting this one for around 47 K USD.

What do I need to do to make sure all is in order before I make the purchase?

Thanks,

MuZa

Well, if it's only got 1800km on it it hasn't even had it's first service. I'd check the manufacture date on it & have the dealer apply any TSB's that may be required like window grease. It's easy to check for, just roll the windows up & down a few times & see if you notice it. It's to early to tell if you'll have any tire feathering.

I'd also check for any small dents or scratches. Typically dealers won't repair those on a used vehicle but its something you can ask for none the less (you never know).

Really though, the car should be in great shape with that few miles on it and and sine it's still under warranty you can address any unnoticed or undisclosed issues later.

Good luck!

A lot of new Z drivers don't realize how low the car sits; therefore, they can scrape the nose, exhaust tips, or wheels on curbs when parking/turning. Look for any scrapes on the nose, exhaust tips, and wheels (all the way around the edge of the rim).

Check to make sure the inside edge of the front tires is not eaten away due to sliding around corners for 1,800 km.
