Cool

Yep, it will be my one and only car. Right now I only average about 10,000 miles a year since I live close to work.

I'm buying it to drive it, not park it in the garage and look at it when I get home.

It will divide commute time with my E320. I put in a lot of miles, 45 miles each way everyday.

I will still be driving my Eclipse to anywhere that I feel isn't "safe"...but I only put about 12k miles/year on, so I figure I'll be splitting that between the two cars.

It'll be a pleasure car for me. Don't need to use it as to and from work. I have a hoopty-mobile for that, 1967 plymouth w/slant-6. The 350 will be a garage queen through the week, driven in nice weather weekends only.

thats the beauty of the Z .. its a drivers car. why park it in the garage .. this engine has been proven to go hundreds of thousands of miles with low maintenance.

I currently have a 86 300ZX 2+2 with 140,000 miles on it (just broken in) that I will continue to drive to and from work, and in bad weather. Will garage and pamper my 350Z.

Will be my daily driver as well. Don't get me wrong I love the car, but its not like its a $50K+ car that you *really* need to pamper and watch out for. That being said I have my spot all picked out in the parking garage thats always at least 5 cars away from anyone else's parking space.

If it snowed a lot in Seattle I would reconsider, but I know it can handle the rain and the couple days of snow we get. I won't be driving over the mountains in the winter anymore however.

Default Daily Driver

The Z will be "my" daily driver, but I will only drive it when I will be going more than 10 miles, so its completely warmed up. My wife's car is a 99 Maxima w/27,000 miles on it and it will be the car used most in town, I'm changing to Mobile 1 on both cars. The Maxima will be changed at 30,000 miles and the Z will be changed at 3750 or 4000 miles.

The Z will be our traveling car and taken out of the garage on an intermittant basis mostly. When we get the urge to take a day trip or a longer recreational trip, we will take the Z 90% of the time.

Yes & No.

I bought the Z cuz i want a nice bling bling car to drive around in after 6 years in a modified maxima, i would like something nicer to drive, but i'm hesitant on putting miles in it. haha. i work ~33miles from home, so driving the Z everyday to work *let alone shoving two more co-workers in the trunk for carpool* wont really be all that great.

i think i'll keep my Z for the weekends and the occassional track event. but my max will be the daily driver, even tho its got bigger brakes than the track z. mwuhaha.

Absolutely my daily driver. I pranged the Miata when this woman in an SUV didn't notice a stop sign, and I'm all about the reliable daily driver sports cars. I'll be selling this hunk o' junk Prizm I'm driving to tide me over until I pick up my Z in November the same day I take delivery.

Sort of.

While I live in East Windsor and drive 4 miles to the train station every day, when I move to Jersey City, it'll become a weekend car since I'll be PATHing into New York City.
