Default Taking Her in for Minor Service Today...

I'm taking my PPW 04 Enthusiast in for minor service today. They are fixing the rubber weathertrip seal around the rear hatch as one of the pins cam undone.

I have about 6000 miles now and was wondering if in addition to all the basic checks (oil, fluids, etc) what else I should ask them to take a look at. I am most concerned about tire feathering. Is there anything that can be pro-actively done with this or do I just wait to see if my Z starts showing symptoms first.

Ask them to make sure you car is in spec alignment. You can do a forum search and probably find what that is on all four corners and compare with what they have. You might even think about paying for it if they will not do it for free. It is very important that your car is in proper alignment for the tires to last.

If any other problems (rattles etc) are bothering you, nows the time to take care of them. Some people dont like to though because it increases chances of stupid techs messing your car up even more
