Default Paint trouble on Evo-R Blitzz Rear Spoiler?

It's been about 4 years since I installed an Evo-R Blitzz rep rear spoiler on my '08. I've been pretty happy with it, and the K51 paint matched perfectly. About 2 years ago, I noticed several tiny bubbles in the paint on the top surface and along the rear edge. And, since then, the bubbles have multiplied exponentially (many in the last 6 months or so), especially on the rear edge, and even on the underside. It's also become very easy to see the laminations in the fiberglass, as if the paint is slowly getting thinner.

The car is rarely ever parked in the sun (I only drive it maybe 60 miles/week), and has been waxed fairly regularly, with no machine polishing ever done. My concern is that if I have this part stripped an repainted the issue may happen again. Seems like there might even be some outgassing from the fiberglass?

Anyone else have this issue? Any problems after stripping and repainting?

Pretty sure Ive read here several times that they make a quality product but their painting/prep skills aint worth a ****. The best results always came from buying the part and taking it to a shop to paint vs ordering their painted versions.

Either poor prep or crap product. At least it's a small piece, fairly quick project.

Did you have them paint it or you brought it somewhere? Mine has been on my car for at least 5 years and my buddy painted it and no issues whatsoever.

Got it pre-painted, and I have to admit I was impressed with the appearance of the paint and color match. Never seen anything like this, as it seems like the paint is just slowly getting thinner. I guess I'll have to take it off, completely strip it and see what's left under the paint. I can see the laminations in the fiberglass, so I wonder if it wasn't fully cured before it was painted, and there's been some out-gassing. But 4 years later? I've got a Nismo V2 nose and side skirts I need to have painted, so the extra paint for the spoiler won't be too big a deal.
