ZISME...is Nissan going to fix our Bose?
Zisme,
As you have probably read the Bose system in the Touring Z cars is absolute crap. The auto volume feature is constantly changing the volume levels and amount of subwoofer you get.
Is Nissan looking into fixing this problem or coming out with some kind of fix for the auto volume nightmare.
On the bright side, I have to say the car is otherwise a freaking outstanding product and you guys have outdone yourselves. For the price of this car it can't be beat.

I have to chime in here. Normally I'm just a lurker on these forums, but this Bose stereo is the WORST factory radio that I have ever had. If Nissan does not fix this, it will affect future sales of this automobile.
All the pre-order people essentially just assumed that the stereo would be acceptable without hearing it. Once Z's are in stock and people actually get to test drive them, the stereo is going to be a big turn off.
Not only is the auto-volume feature awful, but the sound is muffled. It sounds like you are listening to the stereo through a pillow. I turned my treble up to +5 and the bass down to -2 with only marginal improvement.
When I get my customer satisfaction survey, I will certainly be addressing this with Nissan.
