Did they stop/ exchange insurance or was your car parked at the time or something?

On the bright side, looks like your fender just barely escaped unscathed. Bumper and a wheel and you're good to go.

 

Hit and run... Not worth it reporting it just going to get an authentic Nismo V3 bumper. Just sucks since I work everyday and today I actually drove the Z for almost a full day. Plus, I just got done doing a full detail ..., exterior , interior, and engine.

Same thing happened to me two days ago, but I'm not as lucky as you, he hit my right front fender.

How is it not worth reporting??? It doesnt cost you anything and it gets the insurance to pay without your premium going up.

Takes like 15 min to report it...

 

Really!? I was worried about my decuctable and rate going up.

 

You will have to call your insurance, but im with statefarm, and when i was hit in my other car, also a hit a run. I file a report, took about 15 min with the cop. Called up statefarm and they told me, since i was not at fault, my premium wont be going up and that they will get it fix.

I would recomend calling your agent and explain the situation. But filing a report is free and its alway a good idea to get things on records.

Edit: chances are the damages is already higher than your deductible, so i wouldnt worry about that. But your rates should not go up. Again, i would call your agent.

Man, i think a hit and run on my Z about now would damn near ruin my holiday. Sucks man. Hope it all works out.

I to have State Farm and they are great when it comes to handling my repair claims. You definitely want to file a claim.

 

something is fishy to me... if you look at all the scratches, they go front to back....

I hated when that happened to me too. It was also a hit and run i wanted to kill the person. Trust me going through all the people who dont care for other peoples car and be responsible sucks.
