Victor,
The 3M products can be had for ~$10 a bottle at Pep Boys.
dvlad,
I did put the wax only on the rims.
Jose,
Thanks, man. I'm pretty fanatical about wash/wax, so once you get your car, feel free to join me one evening at the car wash in Frisco and we'll do 'em up right. Beware though, I'm a detail **** and will tell you if you're doing something wrong.
Just kidding. I'm not that bad. OK, maybe I am.

I must agree with everyone, you have skills! So much in fact that one of your pics is my wallpaper on my comp. I have a Performance Silverstone on order. Is there any chance you could post your pics in 800x600 format so it can fit my entire screen? If not, thats okay. Keep taking pics though, I never tire looking at them.

Did you use the paste or liquid Perfect it show car wax? Also, how long until you will ise the glaze again? Last question...did either of the products leave a white residue like ordinary hard wax does?
Droid,
You're making me drool... 2 weeks to delivery for my Silverstone in Plano... I'm about to get my wax.. and other goodies.. I think I'll have to check this stuff out.
Did you clay the car first?
P.M. me and leave your number... we need to get together in a few weeks after my delivery.

Dammmmn that looks sweet! I want my Silversonte to look like that! I'm game for the detailing session as well. I just picked up the clay magic kit and still haven't decided on what wax to use. I'm hoping to do all of this the weekend after next. I've been waiting until all the dirty hands are through with my car (leather, dealership, car stereo, etc.).

I have been using them for several years on my Z32 when I enter a car show and have not been disappointed--I usually use the meguir's cleaner wax (great stuff)-clay bar the car-and top it all off with the 3M show car glaze (it is amazing)--usually at least three wax layers overall and then the car looks great--If the car is not really clean I sometimes have a problem with the wax leaving smears on the paint but you just have to work a little harder and it is more than worth it. The car has won 1st and 2nd place the past two years and it is a 90 model so it must be working pretty well--I highly recommend any of the 3M products (they have at least 3 waxes I know of and it is available at autozone too!)
