Smile Nismo S-Tune Exhaust Clips !

I thought people would like the video clips. I didn't expect the negative feedback.

I'll remove the videos. Thank you.

I'm apparently unclear on the concept.... where is there negative feedback here?

OP, honestly, if what I see on this thread is considered "negative", well, would suggest you avoid forums in general because this is NOTHING.

I personally would be curious to hear what an uncorked Stune would sound like because the S-Tune I installed has gotten progressively louder over the last couple years since I put it on. Not objectionable but weird that it should change in such a short time and with so few miles put on it.

Want to see what it's going to sound like when ALL of the sound deadening goes away. Hahahahaha.

BTW guys, yes, I'd imagine it'd still be "considered" an S-Tune without the muffler.... the Y-pipe and large ID mid-pipe are what make an S-Tune what it is; NOT the coffee can rear muffler, which only serves to help tune the sound to keep sounding "real VQ" and NOT add much performance delta. Serious.

How do you like the s tune? I have an oem nismo on my silver and i think its absolutely perfect for an NA v6 sound.

Soundwise, well, it sounds like a louder version of the stock exhaust which is just fine by me. Still recognizable as a VQ motor. Performance wise, ehh.
NBD. Changed ECM mapping accordingly... still needs huffer. Heh heh.

Just saved me money haha. I was considering getting an s-tune, but now i dont think i will. I think the oem nismo is loud enough. Cant imagine it louder without being annoying haha

My Injen exhaust is exactly what I hoped it would be. I spent a great deal of time on researching the OEM Nismo exhaust. I thought it sounded good.

My S-Tune with stock cats almost sounded stock under light/normal throttle. Just a tad deeper of a note. You only really heard it wake up under half throttle or more and when taking it about 3k rpms.

Same here, and that's why I like it.

I have had my S-Tune for about 4-5 years now and it puts a smile on my face every day.

Sometimes I consider getting the Tomei, but right now it's my daily so I will wait until I get another car. Should have never gotten rid of my B13, I miss that car.

S-Tune with test pipes is a perfect combination.

Except when you crack them.

If it wasn't a known problem I would already have test pipes on my car.

What was prone to cracking again? The y-pipe?

I've had test pipes on the car for a year now with no issues, but I keep checking at every oil change

From what I have read and seen, the majority are cracking the test pipes themselves at the flanges.

Ah I see. Well I've reinforced the welds at the flange on my test pipes, so hopefully that helps.

yea, i got a different y pipe and havent had a problem. thats the only drawback. word of warning, if your test pipes are welded well enough the y pipe itselff will probably crack next. happened to me!

Has there been a proven test pipe or HFC that works with the S-Tune catback? Maybe I am being stubborn but I do not want to change my Y-pipe
