Teal paint makes the small brakes more obvious. The wheels don't look bad themselves but they need some spacers to push them out more. Looks like you actually did a decent job painting them tho
you know- regardless how i feel about the OPs "transformation" - i can sorta understand his logic.
he got new car- wants to do things to it- no money- has stuff laying around- tries it on- then--- feeling excited- goes to share it publicly in a forum that has been around for years... (whoops) --
along the way, learns that while this group can be harsh, sarcastic, brutally honest either about their feelings or brutally honest about factual stuff....
there are indeed gurus to listen to and learn from
that there are indeed a mega-ton of good builds, bad builds, mistakes and wins that have been revealed on this forum
hopefully- this newbie is taking notes, paying attention and does nothing stupid (that lasts forever)
Thanks man a bunch. I couldnt find this to save my life. I guess I need to step my Google game up. I could only find the exterior box and random wirings. I'll post a pic when I'm done so everyone can see all the rice everyone loves.

hell-i am a newbie- (at least to the 350z and this forum) - only had my 05 touring Z 1 year and 1 month....... and on the forum same amount of time.
however- i've been wrenching on cars since i was a tyke
(my dad insisted i "helped" him on all of the maint. to our family car)
when i got my 1st/2nd/3rd-through 5th car- funds being tight- i learned to listen and pay attention to what the folks willing to teach me when they were willing to share their time to help me.
hang tight- keep ears open- dont be thin skinned- and you can quite possibly make your car your way the right way.
Time to jump in here with the warm welcome. Dip is great for testing, and for covering bare metal. My opinion, best mod for looks with $100 is wheel spacers.
Relax, enjoy your car , don't worry about it being stock.

Yeah I'm gonna order some spacers as my next thing. Should look great with these ricer wheels thanks for the warm welcome. And yeah my wheels were really scratched and someone curbed them so the dip really covers them up. They really do look a lot better in person than before. And plus if I'm ever running from the popo they'll call in a 350 with black wheels and I'll just jump out and peel that sh*t off
Also, I'm gonna order some stick on eyelids for the headlight. Isn't that your favorite mod on these cars? Lol

The handbrake handle is made by Isotta, the shift **** is Momo, purchased from Crowder's Customizing. The adjustable short shifter is Nismo. The suede boots came from "the-tuning-shop-team" on eBay.
Hey cains, on your trunk leds, where did you tuck your wires in to hide them? In the strut bar plastic or elsewhere? Also did you put the led strip on the bottom of your strut bar? I've got 2 more strips to use and need to find a place for them but don't want wires showing anywhere
The strut bar trim is all plastic, and it pulls off fairly easily. The LED strip is self-adhesive, and I just trimmed a small notch in one of the seams between two pieces to tuck the wiring. The rear-most LED panel, as well as the dome lights camem from here:

I might pick up that e brake. I REALLY like that over OEM. Not too flashy but not too full either.
The leather grain on the Isotta matches the grain on the center console perfectly. I like to install parts like this only if the look like they might have been original, if Nissan hadn't been so cheap with the Z interior. There's a big thread somewhere about handbrake handles and boots, but most of them were Momo, and were too flashy, at least for my taste, but you might want to have a look at it.
I'm adding tons of rice to my plate. I know how much you guys appreciate & LOVE rice so I had to add some more. Maybe cains will appreciate it. I still need to find a place to hide my wires leading to the trunk LED though. Let the hate posts begin
