Default Why is my Z reported as Base trim?

I have an 08 350z that (should be) a GT trim. I have the Bose system, steering wheel controls, heated seats, brimbos, and ray's forged alloy wheels. However, every VIN check I run reports it as base. Any ideas?

I've seen errors with that VIN decoder, too. Sounds like you do have a GT, so what difference does it make if the decoder is wrong?

I didn't know there was one here, but it does report as a GT so that's good.

To answer the other question, just general curiosity.

Hmmmm, my VIN comes back as a 1992 Ford Bronco.

Kidding..... the one here works very well for all cars, not just Zs. I use it a lot when I'm "shopping" on craigslist and have doubts....which is always on CL. Laff.

Yea mine comes back as a base too.

But I clearly have a touring.

NaV, VLSD, NaV, Leather heated, ect ect

I get the little frustration cause I know it's cool to know exactly what your car is marked as.

I've always searched the vin on all my cars. I usually like to see which factory and month they were made.
