Default Code p1065

I got a code p1065 CPM backup circuit malfunction. I tried to reset the ecu and it dosent fix it. As i drive it runs rough at low rpms/startup and the check engine light blinks and sometimes dosent blink. Anyone know what could be the problem?

One pin of the ECU is hot-wired to the battery to keep certain memory functions alive, even with the ignition OFF. A P1065 DTC means that the ECU isn't seeing the proper voltage at this pin. There could be a problem with the fuse, the wiring harness, or the connector, or the problem could be in the ECU itself.

This problem has occurred before if you have a scanner and clear the code it should take care of all problems. I've had that happen before and this is what fixed it. Have you had your battery disconnected for a while?

Damn that sucks. Maybe try to reset the ECU by leaving the battery unplugged for a while. If all else fails Nissan could use their consult machine to pinpoint the issue. Idk even how much an ECU costs these days lol
