Question about TTA TE37s
I don't want to start a debate between 18s or 19s just looking for a quick answer since I'm a little unsure about this. My car is on TE37s, the Tokyo Time Attack model. 19x10.5 +22 , square setup. I'm working on a custom turbo kit and from the research I've done... it seems 18" wheels are the best option for road racing. My question is, will I be fine with my current wheel setup? I plan on having some fun obviously when the kit is finished/installed, so can someone provide some insight and possibly confirm if my wheel setup is in the clear , thank you !

Secondly, why should a change in diameter make a diff so long as the tire's contact patch is the same?
Unless of course, the definition of a "good drag set up" means lowering diameter, increasing size of the sidewall to soften it for better hook-up. In which case, 18s aren't going to be a huge difference.... probably best to go down to a 15 or 16 with overall tire diameter remaining as is.

You can effectively act like an idiot with any size wheel on your car. Since there are no controls, timing and other stuff when actininh like an idiot, I wouldn't worry about it. Hard part is finding sticky tires in the size you will need.
