And, those aren't aftermarket rear bumpers. Nissan has different ones for the various markets. Same with the front, where some countries require headlight washers, for example or parking cameras. I've got a gray-market BMW, and the rear license plate opening is wide and low, rather than the more square opening for the US cars. All manufacturers do it that way.

That of course makes sense. I should've assumed that much, but I apparently wasn't thinking broadly enough. Interesting, I did not know that headlight washers were a required feature in some countries. Hmm, I learned something today.

First< i misspoke a tiny bit, as that rear bumper on the blue Z above is some kind of aftermarket piece. The others do look OEM.
The German and UK Z's have the headlight washers, and maybe a few others. They actually look pretty easy to install, and I think it would be cool to have them on a US car. Some of the Asian cars have parking cams at all 4 corners, something I'm not so interested in. Here's a vid showing the washers, and a few other interesting Euro features if you have sharp eyes:

No problem. I do remember seeing that blue rear bumper on Google while I was getting ideas for my car, but in US specs. I agree. I think the headlight washers would be a useful addition to the car. I would definitely use them. As far as the 4 corner parking cams; although I am a fan of tech, I wouldn't find them useful on the Z either. But it is still interesting to see what other countries employ/mandate on their vehicles. Nice. I will check out that video in a bit(no service here).

however.. in other needless news lol... even a simple roof spoiler ( let alone a full louver set) totally decimates the air attachment to the z, and cuts about 50% of the normal engineered down force out of the rear of the car.
during my aero research reading etc.. ive seen some pretty wild stuff on cars in general, but this smooth total shape on our z in specific too.
Guilty of that on mine as well w the addition of the tunnel hatch, but the weight savings are a bigger benefit, especially w a giant wing added on mine etc.

It should be your objective to make your car as unique as possible. That's the only way you will enjoy it the most. I went to this event in Germany and thought that the setups were really nice. This is not my video, it just remember seeing the cars. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MYvBHZYUR4

Ehhh... I'll say it. I think that with other properly complimenting aesthetic upgrades the louvers may not look that bad. Again, with the other right pieces.
I will also say that I hate that someone can see into my rear hatch since Nissan never designed a cargo cover for the 350z. For those who don't want to shell out coin for a new tunnel hatch this may be a better option for blocking that off.
I do like my Z nice and dark inside during the day. Super dark tint in the rear is always sketchy when backing up at night (I have a camera, but no camera can see everything). This may be a better option for blocking out the light during the day and still allowing you to keep an untainted, clear rear window at night.
Just my .02

I might actually convince myself to get louvers for my back glass. When I find them
