Default Front Crash Sensor | relocation

Hi Forum,

I'm in the middle of installing a Stillen S.C. for my 07 Nismo. I upgraded to a larger air to water cooler and a 35 row oil cooler. I need to relocate the front crash sensor and was wondering if anyone has some info on a good place to relocate it.

I don't believe it senses the impact directly, but rather the G-force generated by an impact. In other words, the sensor doesn't have to be crushed to activate the airbag(s), it just needs to sense the force of a collision indirectly.

Having said that, pic a spot similar to the original location. There must be some space left behind the intercooler and in front of the radiator support. Just make sure it's very solidly mounted, as original, as you don't want free play triggering the system or not causing it to trigger when needed.
