Hey guys I'm interested in buying a 350z and was wondering if any has seen a 2005 350z track anywhere for sale??? I've been doing a bunch of google searches about the 2005 track and its barely giving me any info. The only thing I gathered from research is that there was a trim track edition and they put the first 300 hp engine in it. Only reason I ask is because I love autocross and this has to be the best power to weight ratio z to buy. I can't even find any youtube videos on the 2005 track edition.

 

I have one and have a couple of autocross videos up (mainly from the inside).

The 2005 Track edition was a mid-year re-introduction, MT-only, 300HP RevUp-only. Some minor differences in suspension (34mm front anti-roll bar instead of the 32mm on the other models is the biggest change).

 

That 300hp is crank hp, actual wheel hp is substantially lower

 

35 anniversary will also have the rev up motor and brembo brakes. Those are the important parts

 

Only the 6MT 35AE has the 300HP RevUp. The 5AT have the 287HP.

 

Considering the rev up never had an auto behind it , I don't think he is looking at the Barbie edition.

 

What you make in hp, you lose in tq.

Skip the track because you will probably end up modding anyways. Tracks are usually over priced anyways.

Only Z I'd pay more for is a Nismo.
