Searched but couldn't find much.

I have a 350z I use for drifting, and am trying to increase my steering angle. From what I've read people cut the steering stops and use tein inner tie rods. It seems the Tein inner tie rods for 350z are discontinued... What are people using now to increase lock without spending big $$$ on an angle kit since the teins are no longer available?

There are also these that come with a spacer.

 

stock tie rods are fine. You literally just need to slip the spacer ring over the threads of the inner rod at the rack to allow it to travel further inside. Also, yes to grinding down the bump stops. Best and cheapest way to really drift the z is to invest in an angle kit so you have camber and caster adjustment

Do the stock tie rods have enough thread to accommodate the spacer?

 

That was my worry. I was under the impression that the extended tie rods also has extra threads at the rack attachment to allow for this spacer so we don't have to rely on loctite and a prayer with the stock ones.
