Default Weird sound when let off had

So i recently came across an 03 350z, my second manual transmission daily driver (my first was a Tiburon which i only drive for a couple weeks). I've driven standards before but not much so I'm not familiar with the different sounds.
So when I'm going down the road and i let off the gas i hear like a whining sound kinda, like it's engine braking, is this normal in standards?? My Tiburon also made the sound, i was worried maybe the transmission might be going out, but also on my 350 the ac condenser is really loud like it's going out,so could that be what I'm hearing?? Thanks in advance

Depends on what gear and speed we're talking about and whether in-gear/clutch engaged or neutral/disengaged? I mean, if you're in second and coasting down from, say, 30mph with clutch engaged, the engine is going to be lugging at high(er) RPM and therefore will make the sound like it's engine braking.... because it is.

And no, it's not your condensor.... if anything, A/C COMPRESSOR, just for the record. Condensor is the "radiator" like thing out front that, er, well, cools and condenses the refrigerant.

Yes the ac compressor, my apologies, but the sound comes in 5th and 6th without the clutch engaged, it's usually when I'm going down the road and i let off the gas completely then i hear it but if i barely press the gas then it stops, it only happens when i let off completely. I'm usually going around 40 in 5th gear when i hear it or cruising at 70 in 6th and i can hear it.i can hear it in 4th gear also around 30mph

Can you have someone record it while you drive to help us get a better more distinct picture of the sound?
