Default Cold Start Tire Shutter??

Has anyone noticed on a slight vibration or shutter coming from the tires when you drive your first 2-3 miles? It goes away after that, but is noticable during those first few miles? It doesn't appear to be a huge deal, but curious if anyone else has experienced it. Thanks

I have noticed the tires take a few miles to warm up before the ride smooths out, but I wouldn't call it a shudder(shutter?). High performance tires are known for taking a while to warm up. Ever see tire warmers on FI racers? Also, on a yellow caution light you will see cars weaving from side to side to keep their tires warm for maximum adhesion.

In cold weather, when the road was clear, I used to do that on my MR2. It works but other drivers think you are crazy or dangerous or both, so don't do in front of a cop. The MR2 had Bridgestones too, it may be a characteristic of some of their high performance tires.?

That's normal for high performance tires. The Michelins I had on my 300ZX did that but wasn't that noticable unless it got below 50 degrees or so.

its because of the nylon cap plyes on the high preformance tires they take a little while to warm up
