Bose (Possible) Fix!
Got a call from my service manager, and he told me one of his guys just came back from training. He said on eof the issues with the Bose is with the amp, and the cabin microphone for the system is configured for a larger size cabin (Maxima, anyone?)
He told me one way to try and minimise the problem is that there is a speaker underneath the steering column down around the knee area with perforated holes it. By covering up the holes with tape should do the trick.
Now don't flame me, I havent had a chance to even look yet, but I wanted toget this out to the masses as soon as possible. I'll publish my results an take pics to post.
Good luck!

I just shined a flash light in there and looked behind the dash. It looks like some kind of little diode in front of an air tube that feeds up and lets out behind the dash. Maybe it's the temp sensor for the auto climate control?
Yep, it's the temp sensor for the climate control.
Sorry guys, back to the drawing board...

I f you look at the base of the panel covering the bottom of the steering column, there is a small grouping of holes, 7 to be exact. They are extememly small, take a flashlight. These are the holes the svc. guy is talking about. He said cover it with tape and make one hole open.
Gonna see if any of my pics came out...

I suggest to test it first.
Turn on the radio, make a lot of noise directed to the "mic". If the radio's volume goes up while you're making noise, that's the fix. Otherwise, back to the drawing board.

A brief moment of silence while everyone runs to the car to see if this works. (I'll have to check it out when I get home)
