So my usual shop told me my KN rubbed through my high pressure A/C discharge line. They wanted 400 for the part I said no and now they wont show me which line it is so I need help. What I know is that its the line that runs from the compressor to the condenser and it is high pressure "A/C Discharge". Could someone help me find the part num? This is an 04 350Z

If you mean the heat shield on the K&N air intake rubbing through that white pipe under it I feel it's already doing the same to mine. How can you prevent that ?

 

Yeah it took 2 years for mine to fully break so you might have some time. Maybe instead of deleting heat shield you could put heat covers on the pipes underneath kinda like a turbo.

 

get a piece of exhaust hanger rubber, like below, and zip tie it to the line
