The "magic" third bolt, that I can even see in my own pictures I posted, but did not notice it. Chuckle. I did consider what you and I discussed(dropping the lower arm), but was looking at that inner pivot point bolt not even thinking to look at the outer mount point. I will never know why. LOL.

Well, hindsight is 20/20. I can see easily how you missed it though. If you are in any way a halfway decent garage mechanic, when working on unknown vehicles, the idea is to try to remove as few bolts as possible. The less you remove, the less you can mess stuff up.

i put the b12 kit on my Z last year. Love it. The drop is on point but it is a harsher ride than stock.

What are they talking about? Some of these say with bearing and some say without. Some say with insulator and some without.

Cause rockauto is about as generic as Ebay lol. Just get the KYB forget the rest. In all honesty I would just buy from Z1 or CZP buy from people who own and work on these cars.

OK, will buy the KYB. This car is on a budget so Rockauto is where I go. The shock/strut set is $100 cheaper than Z1

I have ended up buying most everything from Z1, but another member told me about the rockauto price on the bilstiens and its buy far the best price I found. Same shock, better price for sure.

Here's one key element, IDK about Z1 but I know CZP will price match. I found a place that had the HKS exhaust for a LOT less than them and they beat the price by 10 cents lol. I'm a long time customer of theirs and have almost spent the price of my car with them, rarely EVER have any issues and if I happen to have one they work to fix it, and fast. That is why I can't recommend them enough, they are excellent.

Car is still in storage. It's 31 degrees here in Chicago. I might take her down from the jack stands and go for a quick ride this weekend. Supposed to be a high of 41 degrees haha

Well it was 50 degrees here yesterday so I dropped the car down. I got one of those bushings out and in with my homemade tool but I deformed the threads on a huge grade 8 bolt and nut so I decided to cut my losses and just drop the car. Seems like a job for future me to take care of.

Driving impression of the B6: amazingly comfotable with a huge decrease in body roll. There's just so much more traction. Especially in the rear. No wheel hop. This is definitely a great choice for street driving. I love it. I think anything stiffer would be too much of a compromise for Northern roads. We went over some pretty rough patches last night in construction zones and you couldn't feel any of it in the cabin. Took some high speed corners and she just STUCK. Like it was on rails. And all of this on UHP all season tires. Not even sitting on the summer yet. I'm now questioning my choice of going to 255/275 summer tires. This car is going to have unreachable levels of grip.

Glad you're having fun! People are still raving about the "new" Michelin PSSs, I love them. Definitely recommend!

Those Michelins are a bit above my budget at $1200 a set. I'm more considering eithe the indy 500 firehawk $780 or the general g-maz rs at $700

I got PS4S, I don't think I'll ever buy another tire other than Michelin.

You guys should really try the indy 500s. They are amazing and a fraction of the cost of those Michelins. Those PS4 are way overpriced. Maybe if I drove a brand new Porsche or something. I didn't choose to buy a 350z because I'm balling out of control here though...... it's the most performance for the money on the market today
