Question 2004 Nissan 350z Budget Build

I know this is a very common thread probably but new to this forum and looking for some information regarding potentially going turbo on my Z. Im looking to get my Z to around 400-500 HP at a budget while not being too cheap. I want to ensure every part that is prone to breaking with more power replaced so I wont run into issues down the line. I was looking at spending 3-4K not including the tune. I can save for that on the side. I know I may get roasted but just want to learn more about the process and just everything about turbos.

Nothing wrong with being on a budget … in some form or fashion every motorsports team is on a 'budget' and depending who is funding this budget is going to determine the dollars spent.

Assuming you have a DE engine you can turbo with a few add-ons for under $4k but you probably wont get 500hp. You should look to stay around 400hp to 420hp. You'll get this with around 8psi of boost and you can do it all on a stock engine and a mostly stock fuel system. Past 450hp things get pretty expensive.

I would reccomend you hang around the forum and read-up on other peoples builds and see what they did and see what they didnt do. Be respectful, be humbled, and be positive and you'll find a good home here.

Do you have any pictures of the car right now? Where in Florida are you?

I live in Kissimmee area. You know of nay shops that could help me out and are reputable. Heard of people going to shops and getting screwed over my inexperienced mechanics.

You can't. REV9 doesn't have anymore kits. TN doesn't have anymore kits. Unless you know how to make a custom kit then it's not going to happen
