Default Storage lid will not come down. Help

Have my car in an upholstery shop. Top was working fine and they say just stopped.. storage lid is stuck open. Pulled back of top up, and still will not release. Please tell me how!

Sounds like the latch mechanism is broken or stuck. You might need to pull it apart to investigate.

Pics of the upholstery when done please. And sorry I have no suggestions on how to fix your lid except for doing what Icer suggested. Good luck.

Latch was fine, was the storage lid, after unbolting was able to get closed to get it to Nissan. $750 JUST to diagnose. No answer yet. Scared to know.
