Default 06 350z LED lights in 05 350z housing

I got my Z about 5 months ago. I have an 06 350z. I keep looking for smoked taillights but can only find them from years 03-5. Does anybody know if i can take the housing from an 03-05 aftermarket tail light and put my 06 LED bulbs in and have everything fit and work?

You can't just "take out the LED bulbs" and put them in an earlier taillight. The LED's in your tail lights are permanent and cannot be removed.
