I have a 2003 Nissan 350z automatic and I need to change the ipdm I was wondering if I could change it with a ipdm from a 04 auto please let me know!

 

What’s bad with your IPDM? Is it the IPDM or the relays? It’s more often than not it’s the relays/sockets and not the IPDM itself. Pull the relays, clean/brush the sockets, replace the relays, perform an auto-active test to verify. Replacing an 18 year old part with a used 17 year old part just doesn’t seem like a long term fix.

Relay part numbers below.

The big relays (x3) are: 25230-7996A (from a Frontier or Titan, I forget)

The small relays (x8) are: 284B7-CW29E
