Default 2005 350z Spacers (25mm)

I bought a set of four 25mm spacers for my 350. I couldn’t find good enough information to see if i could or couldn’t put these on without any other issues; so i did it myself. It seems to be perfectly fine so far. I have no rub on my front wheels and well over enough space all around. Here are some pictures, don’t roast my little stock roadster, i’m here to help

After pt. 2

After

This is the before.

I just put on some 20mm on my 04 also on stock height. I will be putting on suspension and lowering it soon. Gonna roll on the stock wheels for now.

Looking good, highly recommend getting extended studs if you haven't!

I put 25mm spacers on my 2003 about a year ago. No problems with rubbing. Your car looks great.

When I was running stock wheels, I went with 20mm in the front and 25mm in the rear with bolt on spacers before getting a different wheel setup. I was not the biggest fan of the change in the steering by increasing the scrub radius with the spacers. It felt heavy to me. But, maybe that was because I was still running the boat anchor stockers and noticed the difference going to a lighter wheel.

I thought getting longer studs was for slip on spacers?

Good point. The general rule of thumb is for over 10mm for slip-ons or thicker than 10mm bolt ons. Thanks!

Great point . Working and racing at drag strips my entire life every time I ever seen a car with all the studs broken off wheel spacers were always involved. It really weakens stock length wheel studs.

I sold my stock 2004 350Z almost 3 years ago to my nephew and I'm buying it back in a few weeks. I was wanting to add spacers to the stock wheels on stock ride height and stock sized tires and by the looks of your cars, I think I'm sold.

I am running Garageline hub-centric bolt-on spacers on my 2019 Civic Si and have been very happy with them.

For those of you who have installed spacers, what mfg have you used?

Thanks!

My 20/25mm spacers were from Z1. No complaints with them. The main thing is that you want them to be hub centric with the 66.1mm raised center in order to prevent stress on the lugs as opposed to lug centric spacers. They're currently making excellent paperweights on my garage shelf. lol.

I used Max Motorsports. Aluminum, hub centric with studs. Never had any issues but it's not a track car.
