Default Clear bra bumper or bumper/hood ?

I had clear bra on my previous car ( 1/4 hood, bumper, mirrors).
After a year, don't notice any indentations on the hood but many on the front bumper.

For z owners who have had their cars for an extended time, Is the clear bra necessary on the hood or should i just stick with the front bumper??

Default Hood

I have it on the bumper, hood, fronts of the front fenders, and fronts of the side view mirrors.

There are pros and cons of doing the hood. The car will get small chips there, but it is also where the clear bra is most visible. On my car (silverstone) the hood bra line is the only one you would really notice.

So it sort of depends on which bugs you more, stone chips or a faint line across the hood. Pretty much a personal preference call.

I decided to keep it because the hood line lines up with the panels on the front fenders. If I took the hood bra off, I might also need to remove the fender bits.

My advice would be to go look at a car that has it and see how noticeable it is on your color.

I have DB and it is not noticeable at a distance but definetly worth it, I find black is the hardest to have and more noticeable, I had it replaced the other day afyet 18 months because I got a couple of little rips in it from rocks so I can only imagine what it would have done to the hood.

The fenders also helped, I got hit by a flying soda can which riped a piece of the bra off but left the paint untouched. I wish I could clear bra the whole car.

I have it one the bumper and hood of my Z and the wife's G. I prefer the line to chips.
