Default Help!!!! Problem with ecu

Hey guys I did a manual swap on my z and now a throw a u1000 code for the missing auto trans. I was wondering how to fix it. I was going to get a manual ecu and see if that worked but I'm not to sure where to get one with like all the right information on it. Any thoughts/suggestions would be awsome.

You need to have your AT encoded ECU reflashed for a 6MT swap. I believe Uprev even has a feature for doing just this. Alternatively, you can try replacing the entire ECU with one from a similarly equipped (trim package) 6MT, but you will probably run into NATS issues and will need to have the new ECU encoded with matching VIN and bond with your BCM. Sadly cars are not simple plug n play items anymore.
Good Luck!

An Uprev tune is what you need. Correct for the MT swap so the ECU isn't confused anymore and get the fuel/ timing/ throttle dialed in, your car will run 10X better plus you get some fun features like rolling anti lag, launch control, burnout mod, and map switching.

I'll PM you
