Default Recommended - Foxwell T2000Pro TPMS programming tool

I had new tires new tires with new TPMS sensors (bought from Amazon) installed at Discount Tire last November. Although they installed the sensors, they couldn't (wouldn't?) program them.

So, I decided to buy this Fowell T2000Pro TPMS programming tool - it rocks!

I used it to finally program those new sensors on the Z, and then I was also able to program new sensors (with new tires) I had put on my new-to-me 2010 Scion xB commuter car. The tool was $135 thru AliExpress. It supports WiFi SW updates and easily read my new sensors and programmed them thru the OBD port without an issue. Previously for the Z, I had used the manual re-learn procedure (details here) which worked well, but using the programming tool got the job done in the driveway and in less than 10min.

I've had good luck with another Foxwell diagnostic tool I loaded with SW for our Mini, Dodge truck and for GM, so I thought I'd give their TPMS tool a try - I heartily recommend it!

Thanks for sharing. I was looking into this specific one but for my Toyota Rav4. Do you know if you can turn off the tire warning light with this programing tool?

I don't think you can just shut off the light.

If you use the tool to program in new sensors, or reset the programming of the sensors, then the system should detect them and turn off the light.

But I don't think you can just disable the TPMS light. I didn't see an option for anything like that when I was using the tool on my Z or Scion.

Foxwell makes some good stuff for the price. I purchased an Autel TS501 for programming TPMS on my family fleet. It has worked perfectly on my 350Z and a friend's 2023 Toyota 4Runner. It doesn't see a lot of use, but it does the job and there is a method to update the software (requires a CF card reader).
Cheers!

My first Foxwell was/is an NT510. I use that for diagnostics on my daughter's '06 Mini Cooper, although it covers BMWs, too. I then bought and added software for Mopar (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, etc.) and GM - it has worked pretty well for any jobs I've had to tackle, so far.

I'm considering adding an NT510 Elite to try their Toyota and Nissan software, to see how it would work on the Z and my Scion xB. I don't know if anyone here has already tried a Foxwell system for our Z's and has any feedback?
